Worst Scrabble Game ever!

I play Scrabble on Facebook with a few FB friends. It's fun - I can make plays once or twice a day (or more, or even less) and I don't have to worry about sitting down and playing for a whole evening.

I actually had to foreit a game this week. Now, let me make it clear that I have never thrown the towel in on any game EVER because basically I'm too stubborn to give in. Some might even go so far as to call if ornery, or maybe even spiteful. Spiteful? Yeah, that's probably it.

Anyway, to prove to you how desperate the situation was I present Exhibit A, a screen shot of the game:


If memory serves me correctly I had the following letters, which I guess would be Exhibit B: J A A I I T N. What the frick was I supposed to do with those letters? I had even swapped tiles twice and got no help. Not so surprising considering there were only a few tiles left for swapping. I was about 30 points behind and I knew I was beat. I waved the white flag.

I'm posting this not as a "Woe is me - I had a crappy Scrabble game this week." I'm posting this as a warning to all Scrabble players out there.

As we were playing, I though it was kind of cute and funny to have that little three-letter-word shuffle down towards the lower left corner of the board. It was funny to see what other three letter words just happened to come up. It was a cute pattern and it sucked us in. It was fun at the time, but look at the mess it got us into.

It's like the dork's version of drugs. You are warned! Cue "The More You Know" music.
