We finally got out to see it tonight with our friend Sarah and we all loved it. Now I'll admit that this is only the second Best Picture nominee I saw this year (we also saw Milk), but I can understand why this won the Oscar. See it!
There was one goof I noticed early on in the movie though. In one scene, there's clearly a boom mike hanging down in the upper right hand corner of the screen. It only appeared for a couple of seconds but with all the editing and effects movie people can do, nobody noticed that or was able to just blur it out in post-production?
Anyway, the movie was still excellent. Even though I'm not a big believer in the themes of fate and destiny that run through the movie, I enjoyed it.
So see it! And watch for that pesky mike.

I want to see this so badly. But I am going to have to Netflix it. I rarely get to the movies these days.
