Hello, anyone still there?

I'm back. Sorry for the prolonged absence. It's not like I haven't had anything to say - it's just that it's been particularly difficult to find the time and the concentration to be able to write something.

The election, the economy, some firings at work, busy time at work - it's been a rough few weeks.

There's been a lot to say about the election situation, but it just makes me so mad and frustrated when I try to gather my thoughts that I can't write.

The economy has been too depressing to write about. But I know that this is a dip in the market. It will come back and my in-the-toilet 401k will come back - I have a few years til retirement so I have some time.

Work - I don't talk about work here, but I will say that it has been a somewhat tense and uncertain time there. And busy. "All consuming" is more like it.

So, now that I've got the "I haven't blogged for a while. What am I going to post to explain myself?" post out of the way, hopefully I can get back to posting more frequently. I have to catch up to Amanda's 31-Day post promise.
